about

The Mr. Pickhead idea came about after tracing in pencil a plectrum. It evolved into a concept album about a cloned plectrum who is conscripted into the Army, and who does so exceptionally well that it is promoted to the rank of Astronaut. Before embarking upon a mission which requires launching into space, Mr. Pickhead sees who is destined to become his future wife, and who later contacts him via a transmitted musical message filled with love and hope as he drifts through empty space.
